Posting this for you because I Love YOU - Fear ...

An online study will quickly reveal that if you count words conveying, Fear not, Don't be afraid, Be of good courage, and the like are found 365 times in the Book of Books, the Bible. Fear comes to us in unfathomable ways if we can recognize it. The lyrics of this song reveal some we may not realize. God loves us a lot. He has been telling us down thru the ages to not be afraid, but rather trust in him. Genesis 15:1 After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. --Life will be better if we recognize the many faces of fear, and trust God instead of walking in fear. This is an ongoing lesson for me.

REMNANTS OF EDEN

Who hasn't  been soothed by the rain in a quiet moment? And who hasn't walked through the woods and absorbed the sounds the creatures make? Or noted the different birds who surely carol their story down through the ages from one generation to the next?

Who hasn't marveled at the sound of waterfalls, and rivers? It may be possible that there is someone who has not witnessed the constant surge of the ocean, the swooping seagull's  haunting screech awakening a lone shoreline.  How is it we identify?

Is there anyone who has not viewed the uncanny diversity of what the photographer's eye has witnessed? From the patterns of outer garments, the colors, and the textures in the many species of animal populations of the land, sea and sky? Not to mention, the multitued of shapes and sizes...Not to mention, the same overwhelming diversity in the whole botanical world as well, in the leaves, and flowers, the trees, the barks...Not to mention dragonflies, butterfly wings, and fireflies! I could go on and on from one mystifying anomaly to another from the depths of the ocean to the majesty of the heavens and heavenly bodies.
I’ll

If you lend yourself it is mind boggling. Maybe you're too busy to be boggled.

Some say there is no purposeful, intelligent creative force and mind within all this.

How unfathomable this kind of creative mind is. Created free and gifted to us. It doesn't cost a cent. Oh we can landscape, garden, and capture, but that creative force is joyfully free in its' own self supporting cosmos. Created in a, self sustaining pattern from the beginning. There is no doubt  that the beauty and wonder that remains is only a glimpse of, as I penned before, a truly unfathomable creation. What we enjoy now is only a Remnant of Eden.

Every aspect of the natural world is taken care of.  The lilies of the field, the feathered zealots of freedom singing a matchless song down through the ages, remembering instinctively a time before the fall. Nary a one that plummets to the earth is overlooked by that creative mind.

All that and this poses a question, My Heavenly Father, Creator of mankind, and Maker of heaven and earth cares much more for you than these as it is written.  SO, believer, Where is your faith?

I Choose...

I wake up. My body stirs. I rise.  My feet touch the floor. I feel the cold.
I make the short way to the kitchen and start a coffee for myself. I am alone.

There is quiet. No one to see to, they are all living adulthood.
My nest this morning is pleasant with much potential and things to do.
As I stand in the darkened front room my thoughts wander. You are there.

In my workroom I open the blinds and morning has barely made itself known,
I hear that birdsong trilling from the tall trees just outside my window and I see
The lovely uneven treeline reaching to the sky. They have stood all night. You are there.

Your spirit of goodness is always there, that spirit of care.  I often don't realize.
My mind competes with your presence with thoughts of must haves and must dos.
Plans that impinge on the truth I dwell in. I close them all down, every care and draw on you,

You are here.

This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalms 118:24
Lord, your love fills the earth. Psalm 119:64

7 Verses Packed With Food For The Christian Soul

These 7 Verses are packed with so much food for the christian soul that I say, Lead me to the Rock that is higher than I and to repentance where I fall short, and the empowering of the Holy Spirit to do the will of God in my very own one life!

Romans 12:15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. 16 Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation. 17 Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is RIGHT in the sight of all men. 18 If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. 19 Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 “But if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

SOMETIMES LIFE JUST SUCKS! A CHRISTIAN POINT OF VIEW

After a series of bad breaks in my senior years of life I have been feeling pretty useless. I have looked at my circumstances and asked in the depths of disappointment and despair, Why? What have I done? Am I a bad person deserving to be tossed around like a ruinous ship in terrible stormy sea?
And thinking back from the earliest memories of my life till now I see sorrow and hardship and I realize  the answer is no. I didn't do a thing to deserve the scenario that was parceled out to me.  Then, I think of someone I know who life treated with worse horrors than my experiences. It was a great man, a loving man, One the world was unworthy of.  He was by far the greatest, and in  selection innocent of wrong doing. Truly not guilty, and why I was compelled to write this.
That man is Jesus Christ. I am reminded in Hebrews 12:

Jesus, the Example
12 Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, [a]fixing our eyes on Jesus, the [b]author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary [c]and lose heart.

A Father’s Discipline

You have not yet resisted [d]to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin; and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons,
My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord,
Nor faint when you are reproved by Him;
For those whom the Lord loves He disciplines,
And He scourges every son whom He receives.”
It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. Furthermore, we had [e]earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of [f]spirits, and live? 10 For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness. 11 All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.
12 Therefore, [g]strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble, 13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed.
14 Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord. 15 See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled; 16 that there be no immoral or godless person like Esau, who sold his own birthright for a single meal. 17 For you know that even afterward, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought for it with tears.

Contrast of Sinai and Zion

18 For you have not come to a mountain that can be touched and to a blazing fire, and to darkness and gloom and whirlwind, 19 and to the blast of a trumpet and the sound of words which sound was such that those who heard begged that no further word be spoken to them. 20 For they could not bear the command, “If even a beast touches the mountain, it will be stoned.” 21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, “I am full of fear and trembling.” 22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of [h]angels, 23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel.

The Unshaken Kingdom

25 See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, [i]much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns from heaven. 26 And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.” 27 This expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us [j]show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; 29 for our God is a consuming fire.
